There are two protocols to choose from.  If you are going to use RunMail with a computer and your phone; select IMAP.  You will also need to configure your computer to use the IMAP protocol as well.

IMAP keeps the messages on the mail server for both devices to use.

You can also select POP/POP3.  This protocal might delete messages on the mail server when it retrieves them.  So, it is possible to have half your messages on the phone and the rest on your computer if you select POP/POP3.

Both Email address and Username should be your full email address, i.e. user@domain.com format.

Password is your email account password.

This screen is larger than the display area on my phone, so proceed to part 2 of 2 for an explanation of the remaining fields.  You may have to scroll down on your phone to get to the remaining fields.
